 1. Bleeding or Swollen Gums

Do you experience irritable gums that often bleed, hurt, or swell? If so, you may be deficient in Vitamin C. 

It's important to be conscious of your Vitamin C intake because your body doesn't make it on its own. Therefore, in order to get enough Vitamin C, you will have to either take supplements or consume a diet rich in Vitamin C. Vegetables and fruits, like oranges, are good sources of Vitamin C.

2. Brittle Hair or Nails

5. Dry Eyes

6. Muscle or Nerve Pain

If you are feeling more nerve or muscle pain than usual, it could be due to Vitamin E deficiency. Eating more nuts, like peanut butter or almonds, can help you out with this. Also consider trying different types of greens, like spinach or collard greens. 

7. Mouth Ulcers

Mouth ulcers and cracking at the corners of your mouth may be caused by a deficiency in the B Vitamins. Fortunately, supplements are a great way to get enough of these necessary nutrients.

You can also try eating more fish, legumes, poultry, nuts, and seeds.
